GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Northeast High School is a remarkable institution, with strengths that set it apart. However, like any school, it also has areas where it can improve.

Its a good school for some but sometimes doesnt meet the students needs. The educatiom they provide is ok, not the best. It may not prepare students for the world after highschool

It's a great school but the area is so small that they have to hire people who are going to school for teaching in order to have enough teachers to keep the school open.

Test scores are up. We have moved from a D to a C and possibly a B this year. Student achievement is at very high level. The administration and teachers have been doing an outstanding job to turn things around.
