GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There have been disagreements on the rules in the past, but recently there has an increase in acceptance.

The building is old and run down there is mold on the ceiling and the temperature changes drastically between rooms. There are only a few good teachers left because most are leaving and the food is terrible. There are very few good things about this school which are limited to the electives you can take.

I like that the high school tries to advance their students with a selection of AP and Dual Enrollment classes. However, they are lacking in staff, making it difficult to choose classes. The school also lacks in disciplining students, especially in cases involving sexual assault.

School is outdated. Strong, horrible smells in the hallways and classrooms, students and staff getting sick. School needs to be updated, renovated and clean from front to back. Not pleased with it. For the funding the school gets from local, state and federal, this school has damage that needs to be...

Some were doing drugs. They all harassment to a certain degree. If you die oh well! There is a stron...

Education wise, this school would rate a 5 out of 10 from me. It's not the best but not the worst either. It's what your child makes of it and themselves. Sports wise? I would rate this school.a 3 out of 10. Prince George uses the good ole boy system, so military be warned...they choose locals over...

If you actually read the Terms of Use for this website, it advises that you don't believe everything you read.... That being said, PGHS is a great school. I graduated from PGHS as a military student and had one of the best school experiences I could ask for. The teachers were top notch and the facul...
