The academics are what you make of it. If you seek out the opportunities then you will be successful but the counseling and other admin focus on the wrong things and sometimes only provide opportunities to some people

I have loved high school throughout the 5 years that I have attended. Things were pretty bad for a while but our local board made some admin changes and it has turned out a lot better. I wish that this change had been done sooner so that I could have enjoyed some things more in high school.

The laptop program that students had was ended 3yrs ago the part that let them bring them home and all work was done on them They were only used at school then last yr they started using them less then this yr students were changed back to text books. Washington high gets a bad vibe from the media but in fact it is a pretty nice school. The teachers care alot and almost all are friendly. They have a really great sport, band, and drama programs.
