I personally would like to see more funding towards the fine arts institutions. The environment at the school is decent, though I would like for it to be more diverse and accepting.

I've been in Progreso since i was in headstart to first grade, then came back for 5th grade; and have been there every since. It has been my home for the majority of my life and I live the small town feel. Especially the schools. Everyone knows everyone, which is so important in being comfortable and familiar with the staff. It enhances the learning experience by taking away the fear of new faces or new people.

I love the commitment and perseverance the students attending Progreso High School demonstrate in both academics and sports. Everyone is outgoing and wishes the best for themselves and others. There is not a single thing that I would change about my small town high school.

It could improve first by the administration and the teachers listening to the stude...
