Honestly, I think that the school focuses a little bit too much on things that are not as important when it comes to education. There are tons of kids that go there that do not want go to college, for whatever reason, so they typically do not try as hard as say, students who want to continue their education after high school. Noe, due to this the students who want to learn are forced into a very select few AP, Honors, and Career center classes.

Some changes I would love to see if more leinientcy with students and instead of making all students suffer for one person's mistake, just make that person face the consequences. We're not really diverse, we dont have a lot of other options as far as dance teams and things like that. We have repeated spirit weeks so we have weak school spirit.

Overall, my time at Mid-Carolina has been good. I've always been able to get a good education and be able to have help when needed. There are a lot of ways the students are able to participate and show their school spirit. I would like to see more students participate but other than that I have no complaints about Mid-Carolina.
