It was once a great school . The principal pulls teachers out of their classroom to do other duties instead of preparing students for state tests. In addition there’s so many behavioural issues that a dean was needed in addition to the two AP’s. There’s absolutely no accountability for actions.

What a beautiful experience my family and son had at P.S173 from the principle to the lunch staff. My son had Mrs klein as a teacher and she made our year memorable. Love the school.

Good school if parents are fully involved with child’s daily activity otherwise they don’t care they only demoralize them .
