GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Pulaski was a decent school. The high school and middle school were connected. This was inconvenient and convenient at the same time. I had a younger cousin in middle school, so checking on him was nice. However, there were many rules because of the age difference. Some teachers were nice, some were more concerned about their kids and their friends.

Many teachers care about students lives both inside and outside of the classroom, most teachers actively engaging in conversations that make them approachable with any problem a student may face. Many teachers are willing to give as much help as possible to struggling students, and I have loved my experience at Pulaski.

Truthfully, Pulaski does not have many security features one would see in a larger school. However, nobody feels threatened in any way by the lack of these precautions, and feel they are not needed.

I'm just reading to see if this is the best school to send my child to. How has things changed since the last review which was some years back? Can anyone tell me if this school has a lot of bullying? I understand that all schools do but would like feedback on it.

I see that parents are upset by he new homework policy, however, it's the teachers' faults. They are abusing what the homework policy means and going behind high officials' backs to do so. I understand that they are trying to instill a deeper sense of self responsibility in us as students, but they...

SAD! SAD! SAD! Our children need to be challenged and our schools are failing them on all levels- What is up w/ the new homework policy? It's totally unacceptable! If students are to be successful in college they need to buils a strong fondation in high school. I think the district really needs to r...

This year, the school has instituted a districtwide policy that all teachers will be forbidden to give homework grades. They are only allowed to check off whether it is complete or not. Although only students with all homework turned in will be allowed to take the test, I'm sure they'll be forcibly...
