GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, I had no trouble in this school and loved all the teachers. The only thing that would make the school better is if they included more student choice when it comes to classwork.

Over all my experience at my school was very good. Teachers were always super supportive and friendly towards their students. If you fell behind you were always ensured help to get yourself caught back up.

Punxsutawney Area High School has excellent art programs such as clay 1 & 2, art 1-4, crafts, and art appreciation. They also have a good music program. What I would like to see change/improve is the school spirit in general.
