my experience here was complicated. I am forever grateful for the school and the people i met and some of the teachers. I think it really made me who i am in a lot of ways. I also have significant issues with the way it was run and to this day. i miss it a lot, but there is a lot of irresponsibility within administration and a hesitance to face issues head on. again, this is based on my time which i know a lot of leadership is in change right now. I'm glad i had the opportunity to go to Putney and it will always hold a place in nmy heart, but looking back sometimes it feels like i was in situations i should not have been

My child just graduated class of 2022. He flourished at Putney. It's an amazing school. They don't admit just anyone. You have to want to be there.

Overall, The Putney School has a lot of special things. but the lack of basic quality in basic areas has made my experience pretty negative. The administration does little to help with any student life problems, and the teachers do little to help students prepare for a future. Also, the food is horrible and the cafeteria should be shut down.
