Post Covid we were looking for a school that had a more intimate space for the children helping them to develop encouraging relationships. We found that over the course of they 4 years, the school provided an excellent academic environment for my son to thrive in.

In summer of 2023 my parents had just told me about Prep, and how it was a amazing school with tons of opportunities that other schools didn't get to have. They told me how I am going to go there in 6th or 7th grade. In my mind I was convinced that I didn't wanna go and I would miss my friends and my old school. I was actually kind of scared of what it would be like and if I was going to like it. Then on my first day of 6th grade at Prep I had so much fun and later in the year I realized that Prep has a perfect balance of having fun and learning so many cool things. When I would talk to my friends from my old school they were shocked about how many different classes and experiences Prep students get to have. Overall Prep is a amazing school with tons of great opportunities, teachers, and students. I really like Prep and am super excited for everything that I have yet to come in my experience at Prep.

There is no air conditioning whatsoever, they dont even provide the teachers with fans in the 80°+ heat. Some staff curses at students, and belittles them, even teachers complain about the way the school is ran.

St. John's Prep is an amazing academic high school.
