Jean Nuzzi Intermediate School serves more than 1100 students from sixth to eighth grades. That size makes for average class sizes that sometimes approach 30, though the overall student-to-teacher ratio of 15-to-1 is smaller than the national average. Jean Nuzzi Intermediate is less than a mile from The Bellaire School, one of its elementary feeders. When it comes to math and reading test scores, there has been quite a bit of improvement over the years regarding student performance as these scores have steadily gone up. Additionally, teacher growth has outpaced increases in enrollment, suggesting that the school has made numerous meaningful improvements. Where the school truly excels, like many others in the neighborhood, is its diversity. Jean Nuzzi Intermediate welcomes students of all backgrounds, creating quite the motley of young learners that attend this esteemed institution. The school encourages students to pursue their interest both in and out of class, as numerous extracurriculars are offered including an award-winning debate team. Other extracurriculars include the "Green Team," which designs and implements advocacy campaigns around environmental issues, as well as a wide range of music and sports options. The school's track team has also medaled at various district and state competitions.

The reception staff of school is unproffessional. They do not know how to talk to parents. No answers for the problems. Bad behavior. Bad attitude. If you want to experience, just call in school and the operatot would be unable to help you in any case.
