Bullying is high.My kid got bullied for years and the teachers did nothing about it. After that they got suicidal.

I hated going to this school. I was either bored out of my mind or had a ton of projects. (Normally bored but I'm headed to IMSA next year so I'm used to it). Teachers are either awesome or absolutely suck. Admin does nothing if a teacher is bullying a student. Accommodations for mental health are hard to get and rarely followed. Don't get me wrong there are some great teachers but most of them left after my 8th grade year. I do not recommend this school at all. Just go to a different school district.

The teachers keep my student challenged and interested. He likes visiting with them. If he has a problem, he will go in and advocate for himself instead of having us do it for him. That has seemed to work well thus far. The teachers are fabulous, in my opinion.

QJHS is a dump. Their food is very nasty. Some kids make fun of kids with special needs. Would NOT recommend.

I have a special education student and this school has bent over backward to accomodate his needs. I'm thrilled.

My son started at QJHS this year after years in the Catholic system in Quincy. He has blossomed so far this year and is enjoying school a lot more than he has in the past. One reason is he is able to take "honors" classes, which challenge him. Also, he enjoys the fact it's a bigger campus, but still...
