Quitman Independent school districts is not a great option for advanced students. They do not provide many options for dual credit/and or AP classes, for their options are very limited.

We have a pretty good athletic program and are usually successful at everything except football. We have an outstanding theater department and they go to state every year in One Act Play.Other clubs and organizations are also pretty good and do alot of events and helping around the school.

We have several wonderful and caring teachers but we also have several that don't genuinely care about students. The teachers that care are very helpful in the classroom. The always help us on work and tell us how to do our problems and give examples of the work.
