Central Lafourche High School is not just any high school. It is a community family based on the culture and pride of the area it is located in. During my time at Central Lafourche High School, I have participated in track and field, volleyball, and numerous clubs that are offered. I appreciate the college preparation classes that are offered, and I feel prepared for the next steps in my life.

As a senior, I have experienced 4 years at CL. With that, I can say the best thing about CL is that they give us the opportunity to go to the cmc. I can't say that I've had many great experiences at CL, but I can say that we are lucky in having duel enrollment college courses available to us. One of the biggest issues is bathroom privileges. We are limited to 9 per 9 weeks, and we can use it in between classes, if you manage to find time, but if you're late it's a tardy. If you get to use the bathroom there is most likely no soap, 1 or 2 stalls that lock, and stuff all over the floor. Now on the other hand CL does have good safety precautions put in place. We have locked gates with id access within certain hours, and now we have metal detectors to ensure if we get in the school we are safe. On the academic side at CL, I have struggled. E2020 is hard to learn from, and having teachers here and there really hinders your learning. Cl has tried their best, but all schools have flaws.

I have gone to Central Lafourche High School for almost 4 years now and I am a proud student. Central Lafourche High School has helped me tremendously academically, socially, physically and mentally. I have a 4.0 GPA and am involved in sports/clubs. This school has taught me a lot about being a leader and having relationships with peers.
