Radnor tends to have this weird "bubble"-like culture, and a lot of my peers agree — and in my experience, the ones who don't see it are the ones within that bubble. It's definitely a very very affluent and predominantly white area, especially towards Wayne rather than Bryn Mawr, so it can feel suffocating if you're disabled, neurodivergent, BIPOC, low-income etc. But the resources they offer are great by any school's standards, let alone a public one. There's free after-school extra help with English and math.

Radnor is a solid, high-performing high school. The main drawback of the school lies more on its demographic profile, which tends towards kids that often are out of step with the reality of most Americans.

Overall if your child fits the norm they will be fine. Anything outside of that and good luck. Despite unlimited resources, administration only pays lip service to any specialneeds.

Moving to the West Coast from Radnor High School and we will really miss this community. Size is perfect at 1200 -- there is a place for everyone. Academics are top notch with a caring teaching staff. Lots of room within the athletics program. Science dept isn't special and I could see how someone w...
