GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Ranburne High School has overall been decent. I feel like our school is very safe, and provides a happy environment for students to excel in their learning. I have gone to school here since I was very young. Although I am involved in sports, for the kids who do not play sports, there is hardly any activities for them to participate in. In the future, I would like to see Ranburne grow in diversity of clubs and activities for the students to participate in.

Ranburne high school has been one of the best places. I have met many people and made many friends there. The teachers have always been kind to me and supported me. They have helped me achieve everything that I have always wanted. Ranburne has allowed me to develop talents that I didn't even think were possible for me to have. I have learned from experts and gained much knowledge at Ranburne. The discipline of Ranburne ahs allowed my friends and I to live a disciplined life. The faculty and staff are wonderful and will always speak to you in the hallway. They try to create fun entertainment programs for us to attend. I would change the fact that my school doesn't have a study. I believe it would be more beneficial if students had somewhere that they could go after school to study and ask questions about things they may not have understood in class earlier in the day.

I really enjoy my school and the environment and the teachers interact with the kids. I like that you can be able to be involved with all the school's activities and you can do your own thing without being judged for doing something you like to do. I like that you can play sports and be treated the same way other are treated and not have any problems with the parents saying anything to you. I like that our teachers care about getting us prepared for the real world and making sure we know everything we need to know. I would like to see that our girl sports get more money and better things and that we get treated the same as the boys(like getting feed before their games). I would also like to see that you can come to the tech school and not be judged because you do not want to be in honors.
