GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I attended Rich High for 4 years, and every year I was able to learn more. Our concurrent program is well set up and helped me get many college credits.

Well I guess I haven't been kicked out yet so that's pretty great. Still don't know how I managed to stay this long

The school staff tries very hard to keep us all safe, but still allow us fun. The guidance counselors really want to help you figure out what you want to do with your life and they try to get you onto a good path. Bullying is not tolerated. Teasing lightly is okay as long as everybody is laughing, but once it crosses the line to bullying you will get punished depending on how bad the bullying was you can get in-school suspension or worse. Attendance is important because our school is one of the few schools that only have a four day week. We need to keep at least a 90% attendance it could be taken away.

More students from this small public school take more college classes and earn more associate degrees as a percentage than probably any other public school in the nation. This school is a great schoo...

This school has a great athletic program, beyond that there is really nothing that I would recommend about it. The worst part is the leadership provided by the principal. He continually sides with the kids and not the parents or the teachers making it very difficult for teachers to actually discipli...
