GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I loves the morality of the school. Ravenna is very focused on bullying and mental health, and they want their students to graduate us much as we do. The things I would like to see improve is the classes and criteria, and weekly meetings. I understand they are trying to be very connected with their students but they need to allow their students to work and study for their future. The biggest thing I would like to see change is how the funding is split. Ravenna High School spends all of its funds on its sports, but they give very LITTLE funds to the choir and band classes, I don't believe that is fair. Not every student is focused on sports, and plus Music especially creating it and actively learning it is very beneficial for stimulating the mind allowing students to actually intake and understand more information.

Ravenna high school is a very nice building with great teachers who help with not only your grades but even with home problems. Administration is the only thing I have had a problem with. There has been many things I have tried to bring to their attention that they didn't even think twice about but when another more favored student would speak of something they would take it a lot more serious.

Ravenna is a welcome happy medium compared to rural Southeast which my kids previously attended. And Cleveland schools which I attended. There's nothing wrong with Ravenna School District and much right.

I cannot be more excited that we are out of this school and this district. I felt the academics at this school were extremely substandard. The offerings are limited in languages, art, AP classes, and Honors courses are not weighted to reflect the extra work required of the students. The district is...
