GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really like most of the administration and staff, they are all very caring, and extremely understanding. I would change the counselor though because they do not help students look for colleges, or scholarships, and they also do not answer any emails you send them.

Horrible education. When starting college I was far behind my peers. In particular the math and science departments were bad with English not far behind them. The school had a problem holding on to quality teachers.

I liked that this school was small and I was able to gain a personal relationship with most of the students and staff. It was very nice being able to know everyone around me. What I would like to change is to give students more opportunities in school. I did not have a lot of opportunities to further explore things in the academic setting.

As you can see, most of the reviews here are dated. Since a new administration has come to Rawlins, test scores have improved. Teachers, for the most part, genuinely care about the kids.

I would have to agree with the rater who says the administration lies. There is also a lack of communication and transparency among the school system and a lack of caring among many of the high school faculty.

The administration lies and dosn't keep to there word, they say they don't make dicicisons to hurt kids, but they hurt the band.
