My time at Arthur W. Coolidge Middle School as a mentally ill queer kid was absolutely horrendous. They completely disregard the childrens feelings and will tell their parents everything about their mental health struggles even if the child feels unsafe with their parents knowing about it. When I was there, my teachers were more than accepting of me being transgender, but one of the councilors asked me if I was really sure If I was trans. Horrible.

I hate my ELA teacher, every time I’m in ELA I feel like blowing up. The ELA teacher is sickly sweet and condescending. Maths is boring since I already know everything they ‘teach’ and more. ELA is also boring. I like science and social studies though, it actually teaches me stuff and is interesting...

I don't like this school. You have to go here at 7:40 in the morning, meaning you have to wake up VERY EARLY in order to make it on time and fit in breakfast. This school is also pretty low budget overall.

Great school! My daughter attended a "10" rated school previously, it was good but no better than Coolidge. I do know MCAS scores were higher, but I believe they were just "teaching for the test" and perhaps more focused on that than actual learning.

My son went here. We found it outstanding in every way. He previously went to Killam. He and I loved, loved, loved the French team!
