The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I had a decent experience at Red Hook High School. It is a pretty small school with about 120 kids per class and you know everyone.

In Red Hook High School I got to meet many new friends, learn from multiple new teachers, and have a good time. Red Hook High. School has many sports teams in which you can participate in. All of the teachers are positive, has working, and love seeing their students succeed.

Red Hook is a very good school and my brothers and sisters have all graduated from HS and all have great jobs. The change I would like to see is less testing and more hands on learning! Many kids do not know how to take tests but that doesn't mean they don't know the answers! We also need more tech courses because many students are not college material!
