Honestly I was quite bummed that my house was zoned for Mission Elementary. I had thought I was in the Bryn Mawr school zone. Awesome! My son started here in 2nd grade. Great teachers, they really worked hard to improve his reading skills. My son, since then has been on the honor roll. This school also offers GATE program, which my son is enrolled in. I would highly recommend this school.

My son started 3rd grade at mission. He was transferred from another school district that wasn't to fond of African Americans. Mission staff never showed us racism. I love them for that. Thank you mission for accepting my son, the African American. Joy.
