I personally have had a poor experience with the school because of personal beliefs. There is a large population of queerphobic people at this school, which has greatly degraded whatever positive experiences I've underwent. Truly, the only part of this school that I've had little to no bad experiences with is the music program, of which I have been a part of since fifth grade.

I'm honestly astounded at the abundance of good reviews for this school. I would give it negative stars if I could. There is a weird social hierarchy at this school. Not only for students, but I've noticed for staff, too. As another reviewer mentioned, it has a very nepotic atmosphere. There are special opportunities that are made available only for certain students (ie, children of staff) and the favoritism is glaringly obvious. It's kept very hush-hush and brushed under the rug. As for the diversity, there is little to none whatsoever. I'm not sure how it managed to achieve a B rating when it should be at least a C or D. I don't recommend going to this school if you're an ethnic minority, the passive racism and discrimination amongst classmates is prevalent & truly disgusting. The only teachers i truly liked were the freshman history/u.s gov teacher, english teacher & science teacher. The entire district as a whole really needs to do some reforming. Don't send your kids here.

I am a current high school senior from Chip and I personally think our school is pretty diverse. There are lots of different types of people and "groups" you can "fit in" to. There are lots of options when it comes to what you want to study including a dual enrollment program for college classes. There could be better communication on what students need to graduate however. There are good clubs along with the sports at our school but it would be nice if they got more funding.

As other reviews have mentioned. this school runs on nepotism & favoritism. I cannot comprehend how other reviewers left a good rating. The passive racism & discrimination amongst my classmates was blatantly obvious yet no staff seemed to care. Do not attend this school if you are an ethnic minority...

From the information I know so far. I am very concerned with the amount of communication with parents. I am also concerned with the resources such as books and personal computers and state of the art technology the school has available for students. I will be monitoring my concerns throughout the ye...

Our family has had several children, relatives and friends graduate from Chippewa Hills. Most of these children have graduated from college, or are currently in college, and are doing extremely well. The staff seems to work very hard to prepare their students for college. I have a hard time understa...
