Galena high school had many great teachers and resources. These teachers have made me feel wanted and made going to school easier. They also make learning better. Finding ways to teach each individual specifically.

The best part of my experience at Galena has definitely the people I have met going to Galena. I play softball at my school and have made life long best friends. The overall culture of Galena Is incredible with great staff and teachers that always care about your education. The only negative would be that it is a small school but personally I prefer a smaller school because it makes the students closer in the long run.

Moving our kid to Damonte Ranch was the best decision we could have made. The staff is overwhelmed. There is a large amount of profiling with kids experienced by other parents and kids. Being zoned for this school was disappointing but luckily we were able to get into Damonte.

My kids just started a Galena and they are treated as outsiders right from the start. This is from students as well as teachers and administrators. The school has no computers and does not use technology at all. My son was given 5 tardies in 1 week because he is new and does not know his way around....
