At school there are a lot of fights and some weapon threats, so school safety isnt handled the best at south lakes but in our higher academic classes like honors and Ib classes they are very in depth and make for a good learning experience at the school.

I have had a great 4 years at South Lakes. I made a ton of friends, got involved in the community, and made lasting connections that have made me a better person overall. South Lakes is a great school.

I love my school, everyone is so kind and friendly. Personally I wouldn't change anything from my school. I love participating in extracurricular activities such as clubs or after school programs. I'm part of the public safety cadet at chantilly, I became part of this because South Lakes high school offers to apply to academies, and I applied for criminal justice, thanks to that I'm part of that. I'm so glad that I form part of this school and the family of the Seahawks.

Very poor to no communication at all. I had to transfer my child to a private school due to lack of encouragement and follow-up, a rude front desk, the worst football coaching, and no other sports. It was a disappointing experience.

When first moving to the Herndon area we were highly discouraged by South Lakes, but it has gotten a lot better recently.
