I don't hate RHS by any means, but the teachers and academics could definitely be better. Most of the educators aren't particularly good, despite having advanced degrees. Some will even say things that are objectively incorrect and will not listen to corrections. The food is relatively good, and our music program is great. Sports aren't bad, we just don't have a lot of money. Too many ACPs, not enough APs.

There's alot of cockroaches, if you wish for your kid to live in a bug-free and clean environment. RHS might not be the best, there's even bugs in the cooking classes.

Well it has good people and teachers. My Simmons the Steel band teacher is a great guy and a good teacher but sadly because it's a music group all the school gives us a room so just like most schools we do find raisers. One thing I'd like is if each class did a beginning of the year picture and a end of the year picture. The highschool is great overall even when it gets a little wet or has an overwhelming amount of smog around it.

My 9th grader is having a great experience at RHS so far. There are many offerings, like honors/AP, engineering, biomedical science.

The student achievement scores are very discouraging. It's a poor system.

The students at this school are totally out of control. They are allowed to get away with everything with just a slap on the wrist. Cell phones are commonplace in class instead of learning and the teachers are forced to just pass them along to keep the state rating higher than it should be. The stud...
