GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love Madison Central, despite moving to a whole new state in the middle of the year; they made me feel so welcomed. MC is my home away from home.

While the staff and faculty claim to prepare students for life after graduation, the programs they provide barely suffice what is actually needed for that life. Perhaps having more opportunities for college tours provided by the school and more college fairs would allow that change.

My experience at Madison Central High School has been an unforgettable one. Our school has its own 9th grade school, and moving to the big high school was quite a change from that. My sophomore year, I immediately got involved on campus through clubs, groups, and academics. I have loved getting to know the student body and forming relationships with the staff there as well. Madison Central High School is the best public high school in Mississippi, hands down.

This school treats people with disabilities like blindness to or people who are on the spectrum as I have seen them pulled, yelled at, and just over all treated very poorly
