GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Richmond High School is a very tight knit community. Therefore, students have a close bond with each other as well as with teachers, making it a safe and comfortable environment. However, the small district was somewhat restrictive along the lines of more advanced classes. We were limited as to what we could take regarding Honors and AP courses.

I liked how everyone knew one another, as Richmond is a small school. The teachers are mostly very kind and willing to work with students.

My family has lived in Richmond for multiple generations and we all went to Richmond schools. The families who have lived in this town for many years tend to favor certain families over others.
