GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Union is an alright school. Very poor school, but overall sufficient education and learning. Teachers are mostly unbiased and enjoy teaching. The food is good (in my opinion), and ample opportunities are provided for students to help them prepare for college or whatever they have planned for the future.

Union has definitely exposed me to my opportunities in this world. They have exposed me to many programs to further my education and are always willing to help. They don't have the best reputation in the area but they always try and do their best to help their students with whatever they need. Since we are so small, we don't have much opportunities in the school district itself, but they have pushed me to look outside of my comfort zone to find things to help better my future.

No School works harder for their students! Check our PSSA scores and how much they've improved over the past 5 years. Student's are our 1st priority.

The principal does not discipline, but leaves job to teachers. The school is only interested in sports and not academics. The students with the right name get to do most of the things at this school.

Terrible. The thought of even stepping into that school is nauseating, and any student who goes that who isn't one of the teachers favorites will agree.

Union high school is too worried about dress codes and sports. they say some clothes can create a distraction but pulling them out of class all day is the only distraction it causes.
