While COVID interfered with my freshman year, Dan River high school is one of the better schools in the district. With exceptional sports and extracurricular, i still believe it lacks diversity within its clubs. Our teachers are mostly new, or have been around too long to keep us engaged the way we need to be. Lunch food leaves much to be desired, as well as lacking options.

The school is quite nice some things could be corrected but otherwise all is good. Nice classes and mostly nice teachers but even the teachers who aren't nice teach well. Lenient dress code and good lunch.

The atmosphere is great and so are the teachers and students. Teachers work with students individual to make sure you understand what is going on in the classroom

The new assistant principle suspended my son off of hear say and said he did an investigation but the only investigation he did was believe the teachers word. I am a student at Dan River High School and I believe the students are the ones that know best how wonderful our school is.
