GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

A small inviting place, but every small town has drama. The size has its benefits because you can fit in fairly quickly and students aren't mean. But the resources are lacking, and the technology is very out of date.

Going to Rio Vista High School has changed my life. I moved from Cleburne to Rio in 7th grade and made so many friends. I would not be the person that I am today if we had not moved. The senior class of 2019 is such an amazing class and I would never trade it for anything in the world.

Parents aren't as involved here but the ones that are take other students into account and try to run everything so it doesn't fail.
