I believe it's a upstanding school with little to no real flaws when it comes to getting students to where they need to be before graduation and making sure every student is taken care of.

During my time at Charles R. Drew, a community has been built between me and with everyone in school. Our friends support each other and get us through tough times. The teachers will take the time to listen and build a trust between us. However, I believe that we aren't helped enough in college readiness. As someone who is going to be the first in her family to go to college, i hate how i have to fight to get information from administrators. That is something I hope to see changed.

What really made my four years here great were the teachers. Most of them were extremely involved and passionate about what they taught. They wanted the best for their students and showed it. What I liked the least about my experience was the lack of rigor implemented. There weren't as many AP classes offered as there were in other schools in the county. We also weren't made aware of the resources we had and opportunities were only rarely presented to us by our counselors.

its a good school. low education and authority who just dont care. but it works for the area and nothing awful has ever happened to me and teachers are uplifting. terrible hours. 8 hrs a day for 5 days is insane
