I was a freshman during covid year and then did running start at a community college so I feel as if I didn't get the high school experience but from what I did get, I am thankful for. I am prepared for college

A lot of the teachers are kind and supportive. There is a large bullying problem that is brought up again and again, but ignored. There are not many options for AP classes, only "Pre-AP", and if you go off to a college through Running Start, good luck...

Rochester does what it's supposed to. That is, the school gives you courses to fill state requirements, gets the bare minimum test scores, and sends you on your way. I felt like my intellect was being wasted and that the administration and certain teachers didn't care for their student population. I guess that's why more and more juniors and seniors are choosing running start over traditional high school.

There are some teachers who don't really follow on the "great 5 star scale", but most of them do. I am currently a Freshman, and I have already gotten so much help from all the teachers, my counselor, AND the principle. As of right now, I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am on the top 10 GPA's of the freshman...
