GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It has a very friendly environment. Everyone is very kind and welcoming. The academics are not the worst, although they are far from the best. It is a great place to go to school unless you have high hopes of going far in life- then it will suck your soul because everyone will think you are weird for wanting more.

What I like about Rochester High School is that many of the kids are nice and respectful. What I don't like is that some of the kids get away with things like vaping and not being respectful towards teachers and how they don't let us choose classes that we want that will lead to our careers that we want to incorporate.

There is a decent amount of classes but, not a lot of choices. Which is expected because Rochester is a more rural town. Also, we have a very nice building but, the population is growing and the school is becoming a little overcrowded.

I'm not sure how these reviews work - seeing one here with a one star but literally no comments to justify the review. Rochester is a good area with good schools

There are some teachers who don't really follow on the "great 5 star scale", but most of them do. I am currently a Freshman, and I have already gotten so much help from all the teachers, my counselor, AND the principle. As of right now, I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am on the top 10 GPA's of the freshman...
