We love Riverwalk Academy for its true student-centered approach and project based learning. Our kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Sturgill, is an incredible educator and loved by her students. We love how the students get out earlier than other schools on Fridays. I wish we could do that on Thursdays too.

My son has been attending Riverwalk Academy for 2 years now as an elementary student and we've loved the experience. We were unhappy with his previous school and Riverwalk has completely changed that experience for us. Now he loves school and I have enjoyed my interactions with the faculty. He is in GT and I feel like that program could improve some but everything else has been worth staying at Riverwalk. I even enjoy drop off and pickup because everyone is so welcoming and that's what I want for my kiddo - to be welcomed and loved.

The principal pawns the kids off on the school counselor when they go to her for bullying and the counselor’s only suggestion is to have the kids sit down and talk!
