If you can choose better school for your kids. Disappointed in school officials, teachers and others working here.

I would say that my experience there was easy for an introvert. The students can be loud and lazy and the teachers never really did much about it. If you take school seriously then none of that should bother you.

deans do not do their job, they pick favorite students (students that are athletes), they lie to parents to get the students in trouble. one time there was a lock down because there was 22 fights in one school day & they called parents to say "the school is being locked down due to 1 big fight" which they lied about. multiple school shooting threats. doesn't help students with anything.

I've been in the rock island school district my whole life. From RICMS to Washington to Now this high schoolThis place is AWFUL, top athletes get away with everything, there has been days where we have had over 10 fights, we go on "pause"(lock down) constantly, kids are always vaping in the bathroom...

Shabby building. An administration that does not care. The HVAC systems do not work properly, you're always to hot or cold no matter the season. Its been this way for years. Staff lounges are cramped and dirty, there is no hot water for hand washing in staff restrooms. Building grounds are unkempt,...

I used to love the Rock Island/Milan School District. I really did. I took pride the the district and then I saw first hand how administrators (HR department) treated staff members.
