Quality instruction and individualized learning help make Meadow Ridge Elementary School a competitive option for students aged 5 through fifth grade. It’s the home of the Rockford Public Schools Early Childhood Special Education program, which provides qualifying students with personalized educational and developmental goals. With an academic plan in place, teachers help students reach their individual goals.
Meadow Ridge Elementary School is housed in the newest Rockford elementary school building, constructed in 1999. Multiple renovations have added security measures and modernized classrooms, giving teachers the tools and technology they need to provide quality instruction to students.
Comprehensive support is available to all students through RAM Buddies mentoring, Kids Hope Mentors and the Hillview Learning Center. Both before- and after-school care extends the learning experience of the school day for participating students.
Compared to other elementary schools in the district, Meadow Ridge Elementary is home to a small student population. This helps teachers connect in meaningful ways and provide individualized instruction to small classes of motivated learners.
