The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Nash Central is a pretty decent school. It has some things that needs to be improved, but it's decent.

The school has strong leadership starting with the principal. The school is very safe and the majority of the teachers are nice, helpful, and competent. The main secretary is a very nice, caring, and courteous person that treats everyone with kindness, dignity, and respect. The food in the cafeteria is not very good and I would recommend some changes in that area.

I enjoyed the experiences and instructors that I've had the pleasure of being around in the past. Some things I would change is the strictness of policy. While I understand safety is a concern, it's starting to look like a prison system. High schoolers need guidance, but they also need freedom. Also, the food was not that great and it really could have been better.
