My favorite experience in the 2 years that I went to Rocky Run was World War II Day. Veterans from several wars came to our school and talked about their experiences and roles in many wars. It was amazing to see people that fought for our country and hear their inspiring stories and to honor them, like they deserve. Rocky Run is one of the only schools that does WWII Day. I am grateful that I went to this school otherwise I would not have experienced such a incredible event.

While attending my school, I witnessed many things of which I will not share. The school, being newly remodeled as of my attendance, was very clean. My son is now is 8th grade. With our first child we had a harrowing experience with her middle school which was located in Mclean so I was nervous when my 2nd got into middle school.
