The curriculum at this school was not challenging enough for some students. The school did not offer AP courses and did not prep students for college through their academics and test prep.

Rogers City High School has been my home for the last few years. Overall, I have always felt that our school was a decent school who no doubt cares for their students overwhelmingly. Although, throughout my four years here, I have come to recognize the downfalls that this district takes on. The academics definitely need a total reconstruction. With the lack of teachers in our area, we have had to make scarifies on who is chosen to teach core subjects as well as elective subjects. All of this has occurred at the expense of our students. I don't believe that I, as well as anyone else have received what should be considered crucial aspects of a K-12 education. I hope and pray that in the future our school improves in all of the areas they are currently lacking in.

Teachers do not seem too engaged with the students compared to the private elementary/middle school they attended before going to high school. Not enough class choice. Students retaking the same class just for the credit. What is great is the principal/superintendent and the counselor. They go out of their way to make the high school a better place for students and the kids respect them.
