My time at darlington has been astronomical! I have enjoyed every moment and truely believe I am prepared for college. With not just the amazing academics but also social skills I have learned here.

in short, i don't recommend attending darlington. racism and homophobia are rampant, and the administration doesn't do much to combat it. even outright acts of discrimination were not followed up with any disciplinary action. bullying will and DOES happen. through what i've witnessed, their treatment of mental health is unacceptable. do not send your child here if they are already struggling with mental health in hopes of it improving. the environment is not a positive one with clear airs of superiority between the student body. academics are subpar at best. some teachers are decent while others don't even seem to understand what they're teaching. they call themselves a college preparatory school without anything to back it up. most day students are ignorant, unaccepting, and rude. HOWEVER, there are snobby students from both sides (day + boarding) and neither are pleasant. the school does not take any action in these matters. darlington was one of the worst experiences

I am currently a High school senior at Darlington. Overall I have loved my experience there. I was exposed to so many different cultures and people, it broadened my view on the world. The teachers really care about the students and build great relationships.

This school has done wonderful for my son who has a diagnosed learning disability. I couldn’t be more thankful for the education he has received. The teachers and staff have been a true blessing.

I graduated from Darlington and found it to be one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life. The friends from all over the world allow one to realize just how insular regular city schools can be but the quality of the educational experience is really what sets the school apart. I was simply wel...

I have been a student at Darlington for the past six years and feel the need to share the story of my disastrous experience. I can truthfully say that the education I received was NOT worth the money or the disrespect I was subjected to daily. The administration does not care for the students wellbe...
