Leaky roofs, mold, and the heat and or air are always on the fritz. The gym and hallways smell like mold and urine and some teachers have become seriously ill from mold. Parent involvement is non-existent because the principal is so overwhelmingly hateful. Teacher's could use more parent involvement but no one wants to be treated so poorly by the admins.

Both of my children attend PES and I don't have any complaints about their teachers!! I will admit that there is somewhat a discipline issue, however discipline starts at home!!!! This school and school system is the so bad!! I wouldnt send my dog to school there! Please homeschool your child or move. The teachers dont care. The board of ed is a board of talkers and people wanting a check. Most of kids that go to school here have parents who dont teach them right from wrong....

The teachers do not do their jobs any more. Kids are not being disciplined. Bullying in 1st grade and nothing is being done. Come on people.

Pines Elementary School is Great! They have a Chess program. The staff is friendly and helpful. The students are wonderful.
