GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would like to see more teachers and better ways of coordinating things. My best experience at this high school was meeting counselors who wanted to help me, who assisted me in applying to colleges and more. The worst would be having to struggle with the lack of teachers and education, but pushing through in the end.

Prepared me for college, however the experience wasn't as great. Students aren't as involved and don't listen to teachers.

I don't have much to complain about I enjoyed the school because it wasn't terrible as one could say you can have fun if you're willing to try and to be honest it's alright.

The teachers are mostly more helpful & look forward to teaching students, but it’s a hit or miss sometimes. This school does have some potential but they have low staff, One of the teachers before leaving admitted to the school not paying them enough, Some teachers are reasonable but others just put...

Years later this school has not changed a single bit, some teachers only teach for the pay check and couldn't care at all about actually putting in the type of effort that helps their students put in effort too, this school has a bad habit of choosing the worst possible teachers to teach chemistry a...

The dysfunction at its worst. Horrendous administration that likes to bury all the issues under the rug. “Consultative” model for special education - what.a.joke. ACHS is a true embodiment of that school-to-prison pipeline. Students leave without being able to read at grade levels, basic math skills...

This school is terrible, horrible! I graduated valedictorian of this school and they have not helped me whatsoever with my future! I received the less scholarships out of the rest of the students at this school despite being the best out there! I highly suggest that you do not send your children her...
