The best experiences at Rosepine High school are definitely how everyone has so much school pride. Some of the worst parts is the administrators that don't care about you or your well-being as long as you show up to school.

Very limited options for classes, sports, and clubs/extracurricular activities. Very much conservative (take that how you will), and pretty judgemental community. I'm in band and the funding and organization is poor to say the least. Would not recommend but not like most people have a choice anyway since we live in the middle of nowhere.

I love the student/activity/life balance we have at the school. The teachers push you to be the best student. The help pick us up when we are down. Rosepine is more like family. I wouldn't change a thing.

Many students feel that teachers often fail to truly teach or engage with the material. Instead of offering explanations, interactive lessons, or meaningful guidance, some instructors rely too heavily on worksheets, outdated notes, or simply assigning pages from the textbook. This leaves students st...

Due to Army PCSs, my kids started school in Vernon Parish (including Rospine) then attended schools in GA, IN, WA and returned to Rosepine for the 2024-25 school year. Had we not moved, my son, a junior would be taking French III, AP Calc, AP Hist, AP Psych, etc. Sadly, these courses are not offered...

This school is perfect from k-12. A perfect nightmare. One of the worst schools I have ever encountered for dealing with Autistic children, they simply don't know what they are doing and do not care to do it. They have made clear Autism isn't welcome here. I am an autism advocate and I can tell you...

My family has been here since 2008 and we have raised 2 kids in the Rosepine school system since they both were Kindergarteners and it is a family atmosphere here, everybody is so nice and sweet and treat you like you’re apart of their family.
