With one of the lowest student-to-teacher ratios in the Atlanta area, Saint Francis School enrolls about 750 students from kindergarten through high school. A college preparatory school with no religious affiliation, the school is Cognia accredited and offers AP/honors, traditional and support classes. The 24 acre Roswell campus, near the Chattahoochee River, houses the school's K-8 programs, while a 43 acre campus in nearby Milton is home to the high school. The Roswell campus offers academic programs focused on reading, writing and mathematics, using multi-modal instruction and emphasizing organization and study skills. Art, music, drama, physical education, computers and other programs provide opportunities beyond academic subjects. Afterschool programs in sports, arts, sciences and choral music let elementary students explore their passions, while middle schoolers can participate in intraschool athletics, with 28 teams competing in 15 sports. The Roswell campus features a four-lane pool, two gymnasiums, multiple sports fields and a student activity/athletic center. Founded in 1976, the mission of Saint Francis School is to provide a college preparatory program to students with diverse academic abilities in a structured environment that is challenging and supportive. The school’s 100% graduation rate speaks highly of its success in achieving its goal.
