My experience at John A. Rowland High School is positive. Rowland has a bunch of opportunities for students to follow their interest whether it be an after school activity or elective classes. Teachers are very nice, caring, and are willing to help their students in a heartbeat.

Our school has lots of securities that patrol during class times. They ensure that every student is in their classrooms and no one is skipping class. They are also available for help whenever we need directions. The worst part is the school lunch. Most of them are heat up food so they come out pretty soggy. That is one thing that can be improved.

I enjoy the school events that RHS holds, like Battle of the Tracks. ASB is also super fun. However, teachers have high egos and do not care to consider what goes on in a student's life. They work for a pay check, not for the future generation.

Most of them just go through the motions, don’t explain things well, and don’t seem interested in whether anyone understands the material or not. On top of that, a lot of the students a...

Rowland High School is clearly on the rise! With recent campus renovations, the school has a fresh, modern look that reflects the energy and direction of its leadership. Under the guidance of a new principal and athletic director, there’s been a noticeable shift in school culture and more unified, s...

Terrible teachers and administration. The quality of the this school has gone down hill tremendously over the last few years. Many teacher scandals are NOT ADDRESSED and are hidden from students and parents.
