Alex was only at Royal Oak HS for his senior year, since we moved from another state. He was very much welcomed there, and his teachers and guidance counselor were caring and supportive. It is not easy transitioning to a huge high school senior year, but the school staff made the transition seamless. We also loved the opportunities at OTECH (vocational program) which our son participated in.

I am a member of the ROHS Class of 2025. I have had a fantastic experience both in this building and in Royal Oak Schools. The staff is caring, there are a lot of course options, and the counseling department is wonderful. I have played two varsity sports and am a member of NHS. My time at ROHS has been great

school has its ups and downs I want to make that known through my review I won't talk about lots of specifics but I will share that im a black student in a predominantly white school my constant issues would be the administration they do the bare minimum by talking to you but they do not step in and actually stop and prevent further problems until a student acts irrationally. I feel as if they constantly sweep issues under the rug until parent involvement Although I've only been here for freshman and the beginning of sophomore the school is starting to feel like "hell" for me essentially which comes from the lack of respect for black students and how issues are handled you start to feel as if you're not being heard. But I will say the club engagement and activities here are pretty nice as well as the teachers here not all teachers will be your favorite but mine so far have helped me improve everyday within my learning experience Personally the school is okay but I hope for better

Harassment is protected at this school. I have submitted a number of reviews trying to outline the issue but they have been removed. The athletic director is biased, teachers appear openly sexist, and students who harass other students are protected. The principal has no time to speak to parents eit...

Excellent school. It is a safe nurturing environment. No real issues with Clicks and drugs. Strong student programs. Excellent academic options

The sports program is biased and inconsistent, and policies are not available to explain player treatment even with special request directly to the athletic director. Injured players who have asked not to continue have been forced to play which resulted in more severe injury. Healthy players have be...
