Don't get me wrong, my experience at this highschool has been great. The college program with ENMU Ruidoso is un-matched. However I do think that the math program is awful leaving students with a middle school knowledge of math forcing them to study in other ways. The science program is amazing filled with the best teachers I've ever had (one exception). This has led me to want to go into a science based major such as biology or animal science. I will forever be grateful for the head-start that the school has given me in college.

I moved from a Los Angeles Middle School to go as a freshman in Ruidoso High School. I like that the high school is in a rural environment. Most of my teachers were great. I wish that the Theater program was better. Even though NM schools are rated low nationally, I enjoyed attending.

I loved going to school at Ruidoso High, for the most part. Our math department is severely struggling, but our science, english, and history departments are phenomenal. The teachers and administration truly care about the students, and there are plenty of clubs and extracurriculars to choose from.
