The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Runge High School was the biggest waste of four years I could have come up with. Leaving that campus I felt completely unprepared for anything. Academics are a joke and it's only recently that the sports program stopped being something that inspired guffawing laughter. It's quite lucky that I got into a good University and am managing to survive here. In fact, the only thing that has prepared me at all for this is the community college I was obligated to go to after Runge High School failed to do it's job.

The food is horrendous. I was always a fan of cafeteria food at my old high school, but here it was absolutely disgusting. Comically disgusting, as in those ridiculous over-dramatized sitcom kids talking about how gross cafeteria food is disgusting. They tried once to give students options, it didn't pan out.

The variety of the classes given isn't really good because, like me, I'm a senior and I don't get offered many electives that I can take that are at least close to what I can do for college or practice. And now that they have some courses for seniors online, its still not so good because there are starting to have many online class problems with the instructors not receiving all the assignments and other stuff like that. Other than those "little" problems, other things such as our teachers are very good to us and really helpful. They show us and teach us the right ways to do the work and they have plenty of patients.
