There is a strong sense of community. The teachers are always available to ask and answer questions. Individualized learning is more achievable with the smaller class sizes. One of the down side to the smaller school is the lack of course diversity, however online classes are offered. Because of the small size and small town here, the school is very safe. There are often police vehicles and officers near or at the school throughout the day.

This is a great alternative school for students can earn their high school diploma in 2 years! The staff work very hard to help each individual student.

My experience at this school has been wonderful. I enjoyed attending Mackinaw, it was a great experience and I learned a lot of new things.
